PHASE 1 |
Dec. 2018: Bay Area Hive is born.
Sept. 2019 - Dec. 2020: Estrellx secures a Community Engagement Residency to fiscally support Hive programming via Hope Mohr Dance / The Bridge Project.
Nov. 3 - 20, 2019: Estrellx travels to Guatemala to conduct choreographic research and meet residency partners, La Nueva Fabrica.
Dec. 21, 2019: First Annual HIVE Winter Solstice Encuentrx in the San Francisco Bay Area.
PHASE 2 |
Jan. 2020 | Estrellx attends the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) Global Congress.
July 2020 - Oct. 2020 | Estrellx co-curates PLATAFORMA #1 (first branch of La Escuela programming)
Oct. 2020 - Dec. 2020 | Estrellx begins organizing pilot version of Residencias Rhizomatica (second branch of La Escuela programming) w/ Tossie Long.
Jan. 2021: Estrellx begins collaboration and dialogue with Megan Kendzior, Marya Wethers, and others advisors and consultants on an on-going basis.
Jan. 2021 | Estrellx virtually attends and presents a regional update at the 2021 ISPA Global Convergence
Mar. 2021 - Dec. 2023 | Estrellx begins Spiritual World Tour (i.e. Research & Development Phase) to identify new BIQTPOC and allied partnerships, including discovering initial hub site for The School and for-profit entities in the U.S. and / or abroad. Thus far, they have traveled to Arizona, Hawai'i, Colorado, amongst other places along their journey.
Mar. 2021-June 2021 | Estrellx expands La Escuela core team by 4-5 members (admin., grant-writing, marketing, development support) and simultaneously places team on hold.
May 2021: Estrellx premieres underground underneath the underground (prototype for La Escuela's club space), virtually and in-real-life via CounterPulse.
Aug. 2021 - Oct. 2021: Residencias Rhizomatica Pilot Version: Inhabiting Paradox, POSTPONED during the month of June 2021.
Sept. 2021: Estrellx renames the vision: Estrellx Supernova & The Cosmic Angeles / The School of Tenderness to delineate and denote their solo praxis, collaborative constellations, and curatorial/programming channels.
Oct. 2021: Estrellx shifts to Los Angeles to continue finding partners, investors, and other interested parties to continue honing and establishing a solid foundation after some months in Europe (Ireland, Portugal, Netherlands).
Dec. 2021-Dec. 2023: La Escuela forms 10-50+ new partnerships within the U.S. and abroad; La Escuela core team solidified, including plans of action for non-profit and for-profit specific entities.
